Story

This March I'm going to run 100 miles, nearly the equivalent of 4 marathons, across the month. I'm doing this to challenge myself but also to raise awareness and money for the homeless here in Durham. Any donations will be given to the charity DASH, Durham Action on Single Housing. (https://www.dashorg.co.uk/) This charity provides accommodation with support to people who are homeless or are about to become homeless. Helping the homeless find accommodation is always important, but now because of the weather more than ever. Over the past few days you've probably complained how cold it is but now imagine how much worse that would be if you were without accommodation to go back to. DASH has been making a positive intervention on single homelessness for forty-five years. The objects of the charity:

- The provision of charitable social housing

- To promote the care, education and training of people with a mental or physical disability

Your donations can help support this charity and the homeless here in Durham and get more people into accommodation and out of the snow.
