Story
Following the outstanding success of last year's 'Race to the North Pole' challenge, which raised over £3,500 for local charities, we are raising the bar! This year, we are proud to launch our most ambitious fundraising effort yet: The Race to Uganda, aiming to cover a collective distance of 6,511 miles!
Why Uganda?
Our chosen destination reflects our school-wide support for the Seeds of Hope project. This Non-Governmental Organisation runs vital training programmes to empower communities in the Kabale District of South West Uganda. The funds we raise will be dedicated to their Clean Water and Hygiene Programme, providing thousands of children with sustainable access to clean water.
We are aiming to surpass last year’s total and will split the money raised between Seeds of Hope and three essential local charities: Mission Christmas, Daffodil Dreams, and Fur Klempt.
