On the 26th February 2019 Simon Dearden lost his fight with bowel cancer. He left behind a wife and two young children that he loved and cherished. Simon decided that he did not want anyone to know of the fight he was having and lived his life as normally as possible right until it was impossible to do so. A true warrior in my opinion.

Since his death so many people have expressed to me how much of a nice person Simon was and it shows how much he was respected & loved by everyone that met him. They have also asked how they can help the family and that they would like to help raising money to help the family.

We were both involved with Great Preston FC and we will be having some fundraising days and trophy's named after Simon so he is remembered as part of the club forever. #alwaystheboss
