Story
30,000 people in the UK have a cardiac arrest each year outside the confines of a hospital. The chance of survival after the heart stops falls by around 10% for each minute that passes without defibrillation. Defibrillation helps re-establish normal contraction rhythms in a heart that is having dangerous arrhythmia or in cardiac arrest. While there is no guarantee that a defibrillator will save a person's life, it will give them a much greater chance of survival.

9 years agoHello, On behalf of my family, I want to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for your donation. Not only has your generosity blown us away, but more importantly it could help save a life one day. By combining the on and offline donations we've received, we're in the amazing position where we should be able to buy not one but two defibrillators. I know some of you combined your donations with partners and family members, so please pass this thanks onto them. Once again, thank you so much - you're all stars. All the best, Morgan
