Story
Dear World
1988 my ex tried to murder me in my own home, he cut my throat and stabbed me in my kidneys in front of my children, I thought my life was over at that stage. I pulled through only to be diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis age 34 and had to have an emergency brain tumour removed.
Told to write a Goodbye letter to my three children I thought again my life was over however I pulled through having suffered a major stroke. I lost the ability to read, write, walk, talk and all the things we take for granted.
My children were taken into care while I underwent rehabilitation over the next 18 months. With grit and determination again, I pulled through minus my left eye which was removed and hearing in my left ear was lost.
Sadly a new tumour has grown and I am scared that I wont be so lucky this time round. What with NHS cuts and resources spread thinly my only hope is private treatment at Harley street.
I am asking stranger, friend, neighbour, business owner, mother, brother, sister, father, son and daughter to help fund this private treatment and extend my life so I can be there for my children. If everyone reading this can give even a few pounds you would be saving a life, if not you can still help by forwarding this to someone who can.
Sincere gratitude
Debbie Rock.
