Story
I began powerlifting in 2021, supported by my son Huw, who is a world champion powerlifter. Having set myself a target of qualifying in my age and weight class, I competed in the British Championships in November 2022. I have been invited to represent Team GB in the European Championships which are to be held in Glasgow in June 2023. In order to cover costs of flights and hotels I need to raise £600. It is an honour to be part of the powerlifting family and I have worked so hard over the last few years to get this far, supported by my son, training partners, family and friends. I would be so grateful for any support you are able to donate.

At the tender age of 58 I took up powerlifting, supported and trained by my son Huw. Now age 60, I have been invited to take part in the GPC European championships in June this year, in Glasgow. It will be an honour to represent team GB and I am grateful for any support.
