Lao Friends Hospital for Children is the only hospital in Northern Laos providing FREE healthcare to children. It

opened in 2015 and the dedicated staff serve over 30,000 children per year. The hospital is both unique and exceptional.

It’s FREE! No one pays anything for their care.... They cannot afford to.

It’s still the only paediatric hospital in Northern Laos and has become the ONLY teaching hospital.

The LFCH provides the ONLY neonatal ward and the ONLY development clinic for children with autism, down syndrome and cerebral palsy and the only thalassemia clinic for children afflicted with this devastating form of anaemia.

These beautiful children have nowhere else to go.
