Grimsargh Field Day is one of the most loved and cherished traditions in our village — a day where the whole community comes together to celebrate everything that makes Grimsargh so special. With colourful parades, fun stalls, children’s races, live entertainment, and the crowning of our Field Day Queen, it’s a highlight of the year for families, friends, and visitors alike.

But did you know it costs around £7,000 to make Field Day happen each year?

From hiring marquees and stages, to insurance, decorations, road closures, and all the behind-the-scenes costs you might not see — it takes a lot of effort and money to bring this joyful event to life. Every penny raised goes back into the event, keeping it accessible and magical for everyone who attends.
