Steve writes - just another quick update on my cancer battle. We visited the hospital yesterday to hear how my MRI and PET scans were looking. My oncologist was in tears and that wasn’t a good start. It’s not good news I’m afraid. My most recent scans have shown some melanoma in more lymph nodes in my abdomen, brain and liver. They don’t think it’s curable but they are going to ask the Royal Marsden again if I can join a trial. Plus I’ll get some radiotherapy to try to blast the ones in my brain. We’ve got to wait to hear more but wanted to let you know. I guess as far as the medical profession is concerned there’s nothing more to be done, but my faith tells me this might not be the end and there may be a few twists and turns to come. Pray for us, my beautiful wife Bekah and our five gorgeous daughters. We could really do with it even more now. Thanks.
