Story

We are trying to raise £2,000 to get our 14 year old to live his dream 🌟

Please Help Logan Cross Take His Talent From Blackburn Lancashire to Broadway New York

Our son, Logan Cross who is currently 14 years of age has been part of Made for Stage UK which a triple threat musical theatre academy based in Blackburn at the Empire theatre since the summer of 2022. When Logan first joined the academy, he was a quiet 10‑year‑old boy just trying to find a hobby to fit in to. Over the past four years, performing on stage has transformed him. The moment he steps on stage, something changes — his confidence grows, his spark ignites, and he becomes the happiest version of himself.

His journey began at a local charity event at Whalley Abbey in Whalley Blackburn, and since then he has gone from strength to strength, taking on major roles and performing on incredible stages across the North West and beyond.

Logan’s Roles and Performances

- Aladdin in Manchester

- Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical

- Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde

- Bert from Mary Poppins in Manchester

- Nanki-Poo in The Hot Mikado at His Majesty’s Theatre, London

- Two appearances at the Blackburn Christmas Lights Switch-On

- A couple of ensemble performances at the Winter Gardens Blackpool

- Stars for the Night at the Manchester Palace Theatre

- Multiple productions at the Empire Theatre, Blackburn

- Annual summer showcases with Made for Stage

Performing as Nanki-Poo at His Majesty’s Theatre in April 2025 was a huge milestone for Logan — a moment that showed just how far he has come from that shy 10‑year‑old boy who first stepped onto a stage.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity

Logan has now been given an extraordinary opportunity: to travel to New York City and perform on Broadway with Made for Stage. For any young performer, Broadway is the dream — and Logan has worked incredibly hard to earn this chance.

Our Family Is Working Hard Too

As a family, we are committed to doing everything we can to support Logan’s dream. Alongside this GoFundMe, we will be organising multiple fundraising events, including:

- Logan’s dad running the London Marathon in April 2026

- Logan, his dad and uncle are completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks in August 2026

- Logan’s mum running the Great North Run in September 2026

Other fundraising events are being planned

We’re putting in the miles — literally — to help make this dream possible.

How You Can Help

This opportunity comes with significant costs, including travel, accommodation and programme fees. Any support, no matter how small, will help bring Logan one step closer to standing under those Broadway lights and achieving his dream.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and belief in Logan. It means the world to us.
