My name is Declan Parker, and I am currently studying my A levels at Outwood Grange Academy, Wakefield. I have been presented with the opportunity of a lifetime to embark on a life-changing experience half way across the globe. Camps International have provided me with a chance to travel to Peru, South America, in July 2017 in order to improve local communities up and down the country and to help provide an increased quality of living and future opportunities for the younger generations.

Throughout the duration of my 4 week stay I will be attending villages of low wealth within the country and contributing towards their communities by helping to improve their standard of living. I will be assisting by working on projects such as:

1. Building schools for the local children, in order to educate them and prevent them from otherwise walking miles to a different school
2. Refurbishing toilets and sanitation facilities

This work will help to provide the youth of Peru, within the communities, with more opportunities which wouldn’t otherwise be accessible.

All of the donations I receive will go towards activities that we are doing in
Peru to upgrade local communities, these will mainly be towards providing fresh water supplies, construction materials and transport for local communities.

I am going to make a difference in Peru, but I need your help to do so. Please help by donating as much as you can to make this possible.
