As some of you may know, I am travelling to Nepal at the end of September for a 2 week Volunteering Programme to Carry out Dental Hygiene work.

Nepal has suffered extreme healthcare deprivation since the devastating 2015 earthquake and more recently through the Covid Crisis.

I am committed to utilising my skills and experience as a Dental Hygienist to volunteer my time and give back to a country and people who I have a great affection for.

My main Goal will be providing Oral Health Education and Treatment to adults and children who are in discomfort and suffering due to dental issues. This will be carried out in Dental Clinics in Kathmandu and Regional Orphanages.

Volunteers pay for their own accomodation, flights and food, so all monies raised will go towards the dental treatment and equipment for patients.

I will also be distributing toothbrushes and toothpaste taken with me and kindly donated by UK Dental Companies.

Any donation to help provide better oral health to those in need would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.
