I've raised £500 to build the lives of Fiji's youth

Hi! Thank you for visiting my page!
I'm excited to have been selected to volunteer in Fiji for 4 weeks this July. I'll be going with a charity called Think Pacific alongside a small group of Cardiff Uni students. As holiday destination as Fiji sounds, Think Pacific works with schools and children who live in the rural villages.
In these rural areas, only 5% of young Fijians have access to early education and schools are in poor condition. As a volunteer, I'll be supporting children in schools. This support could be anything from 1:1 tutoring Maths/English to children who are falling behind to establishing Kindergarten programmes in communities where education is close to non-existent.
As well as teaching, I'll also be coaching a variety of sports. My specialities being cricket, rounders and netball. This is to ensure children have an incentive to come to school every day as well as making sure the kids build a healthy and fit lifestyle. I'll be going by my favourite motto: “work hard, play hard” throughout the programme to ensure the kids get the most out of our skills so they can continue to use them even after the programme ends.
Before July, I'm raising money to support Think Pacific. As part of this, I've taken on the challenge of running Newport’s 10k run on the last weekend of April. For those who know me, this is my first big run as the only running I ever did was for the bus to school.
With your donations, it'll allow more established schools and quicker recovery from Fiji’s biggest cyclone in 2016 which destroyed many communities as well as hundreds of schools. Please note, all donations made will go to Think Pacific and won't contribute to the expenses of my trip so please donate as much as you can. No amount is too little or too large and any donations made will make a bigger difference than you think.
Thank you for your time and please feel free to message me if you have questions about this exciting adventure I will be embarking!
