Salford Lads Club is used by the local community, people young and old. The club has a historic and worldwide reputation for keeping youths of the street and providing them which activity’s such as boxing and football. Adults also use the club on a regular basis for fitness classes and meetings.

Dannys and Joes wish is to raise part or enough money to get a defibrillator for the club by running the Wilmslow half marathon on June the 24th.

A defibrillator will go along way in protecting all users of the club and the surrounding community in the case of an emergency. Hopefully never needed to be used but can be there to save a life and would be vital if any first aid duties are needed.

Along with helping out at the club, Danny and Joe train regular, however, they have never run further than 10k. They’ve been hitting the roads hard for this good cause. So if you can donate something small, helping them and the community by getting this much much needed piece equipment please do so.
