I own outreach physio on hoylake road in Moreton. I have just raised £750 to enable me to buy a defibrillator which will be for public use. It will be housed in the porch of my house.

due to the response so far with local people and businesses offering to donate, i have changed this page so we can put as many defibs as possible in and around moreton. I have been inundated with personal stories of how things may have been different for relatives of people should there have been a defib nearby and this makes me more determined to make this happen. It not only saves lives but massively improved the quality of life of the survivor, helping to avoid brain damage and other coma related conditions such as pneumonia, infection, muscle atrophy etc.

A family member recently had a heart attack which resulted in a coma for 2 months so this is why I am doing this to help stop this happening to other people.

I am asking if any local businesses or individuals are able to donate and contribute towards this fund whether it be financially or also prizes we can auction off and payments for this will be made through here on just giving

Once again I can't express how overwhelmed I am that the public have responded in this way. it makes me proud and lucky to live here! xxx
