I've raised £1305 to supply Defibrillator's to Bannnockburn Primary School, St Mary's Primary School, and Bannockburn House.

We (Greg & Karen Farquharson, Kevin Wilson, and Danny Letford) are hoping to raise the money required to purchase 3 AED'S (automatic electronic defibrillator) to benefit the community of Bannockburn by completing the Stirling Marathon on Sunday 28/4/19. An AED is required to help re-start the heart when it stops. Early CPR and early defibrillation have been proven to increase the chances of survival when someone has a cardiac arrest.
An AED costs £900 and the supplier, Trossachs Search & Rescue Team, has agreed to attend both schools and Bannockburn House to teach pupils, staff, etc how to carry out CPR and use the AED, Amazing!
The initial target of £2,700 has been reduced due to external donations. £500 pounds has been donated courtesy of a recent charity fundraiser "The Rocket's Extravaganza" on the 23-02-19. Thank you very much to all who attended and donated! A further £100 has been donated from Bannockburn Community Council, thank you! A further £455 was donated from the annual Tartan Arms & McQs Cheltenham day. Thanks to all who donated! £200 has been donated by the King Robert Hotel from their recent Mother‘s day fundraiser, thank you very much. We have also recieved external donation's totalling £140. This is why the total £1305 is required.
Any excess money raised will either be put towards a local charity to be determined or another defbrillator depending on the amount.
