Story

Anyone who knows me knows how bad I am at running but its been a while since Ive done a wee fundraising challenge! I cant think of a better reason to kick start it again than what I am doing this for 💙

My friend Farrahs dad Tommy suffered a heart attack while watching his team play a local league match. He is thankfully home & recovering well. This is thanks to the amazing paramedics along with doctors & nurses at Caithness General and Glasgows Queen Elizabeth & Golden Jubilee hospitals

On Sunday 29th July I am going to be taking part in the 5k big fun run in Edinburgh. For some 5k is a walk in the park...not for me! I am taking part in this event to help raise funds to get portable defibrillators available at as many football (and other sport) grounds in Caithness as possible.  A number of football matches at varying levels are played through out Caithness every week from children's tournaments to our summer league to the Highland Amateur Cup and it would be amazing to have as many of these teams as possible supplied with portable defibs

These pieces of kit cost between £700 & £1500 each so anything I can raise would be a huge help

5 weeks today....I best get training 🙈🙈🙈

Thank you
Jan xx
