Our names are Leanne and Tanya and Here's our story!

In 2010 I was working in a supermarket stocking products on shelves and many women who I worked with would always ask me on the wigs I would wear. But I would always let them know "In my spare time I make wigs". UNTILL THAT MOMENT WHEN IT HAPPEND. One of my colleagues confronted me and pulled me to the side and said to me she was suffering with alopecia and she asked me if I would make a wig for her. She described to me how she felt and how this effects her every day life of not being able to find the right wig that suits her and her condition.
There was a feeling that came over me that just wanted to help the best way I could. When I made her the wig and she tried the wig on she was overwhelmed with joy and her eyes started to fill up with tears. That was the day I KNEW I needed to do more with my life.

The next couple of weeks after I handed in my notice and I enrolled my self into college studying hair. This course was life changing as I didn't know what to expect and what kind of different people I would come into contact with. However, Whilst studying the course I got bad news and found out a family friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer and she had to go through chemotherapy. When she lost her hair she felt like she lost her spirt. She would always ask me to make her a wig but at that moment in time I had over load in college work and I didn't have the time to make any wigs. The day I finished the course she died of breast cancer, this day was so emotional for me. Years after me and my business partner Tanya teamed up and dedicated our time for making wigs to cancer patients and people with alopecia. Our demand has become so strong that we have now started to sell to the general public.
We are a small business and we make wigs in our homes because we love the purpose of why we came together to do this. we need your help to get us out our homes and moving to opened up a store in our local area.
