I'm raising £500 to send clothes & hygiene supplies to Myanmar.

Many of you have very generously donated clothes, shoes and hygiene supplies to support vulnerable communities in Myanmar effected by conflict, the 2023 cyclone Mocha and the recent 7.7 magnitude earthquake. Over time I have collected around 76kg from generous donors. I am now trying to send them to Myanmar and have found a small shipper who will charge me only £300 (vs. £2K+ quoted by other larger commercial options) . I have taken my time to identify the right shipper for the task, in order to find not only an affordable solution but also a shipper that I could be confident that the supplies would reach their destination and not fall into the wrong hands. On arrival in Yangon, the items will be collected by friends on mine with trucks and driven for several days through rough terrain to reach those people in need. The additional £200 will go towards fuel and food for these people.

I would appreciate any donations towards these costs, to help get these supplies to people in Myanmar who are in dire need and trying to rebuild their lives or merely just survive.

Thank you in advance.
