In 2017 we were able share the funding for a specialist dementia Admiral Nurse working in the Purbeck community to support families with the many different problems that dementia can present over time.
It is now obvious that the workload is too great for one nurse and so we have agreed with NHS Dorset and DementiaUK to launch a new fundraising initiative towards having a second Admiral Nurse in our area.
