I've raised £1200 to help repair the Adarsh Mano Vikash Sansthan mental school in Ranthambore

Today I visited Adarsh Mano Vikas Sansthan , a special rehabilitation school center for children and adolescents with Autism, Asberger's syndrome and other mental disorders. This amazing school in Ranthambore gives shelter to 12 lovely children. Their families left them there as they were too poor to take care of them so the couple who owns the school has been looking after them. A couple of years ago this school had no ceiling, toilets or amenities to provide to the children. The children used to sleep without blankets and had no clothes. Today, with the help of Aman-i-Khas (a resort near the school) the school has a roof and the children have warm clothes to sleep in. However, there a lot of things that still need to be repaired and provided to the children, such as renovation of the toilets (two children are paralysed from the waist down and need special ramps), provision of warmer clothes, toys, textbooks and pens etc. Tomorrow is my birthday and instead of buying me a gift I would kindly ask you to donate anything you can for the needs of this school. These renovations are so essential and it would actually change the lives of these children. I am certain we can do something about it. Let's start this new year in the right way by helping children like Arun!! Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference!!
