10 year old Emily from Ipswich started off the year with a brain tumor which was removed in January successfully. Sadly the tumour was cancerous, a rare fast growing type, grade 3 . She has also received proton beam radiotherapy. Whilst the NHS will pay for this, there have been and will continue to be associated costs for the family for a long time to come.
Emily is a bright, brave, strong and positive young lady and deserves the best chance as her whole life is ahead of her. Her family, including her mum, dad and brother really need some positive, practical and tangible help.
