UPDATE :

I had initially set up this page in order to help fund a CuddleCot for Queen Elizabeth University hospital in memory of Ivy - Rose to help Chloe reach her target .

With emailing the Charity SiMBA who do alot of amazing work to help familys gather timeless memories after the loss of a baby. they need donations to make a difference and with keeping in touch with them regarding fundraising and our aim was to raise funds towards a CuddleCot . SiMBA had contacted all the scottish hospitals and they have a sufficient number of CuddleCots as its difficult to store more that 2-3 within the hospitals.

We asked what else we could do and Chloe was asked if she would be happy to help with the family room which they are about to start on in the Princess Royal maternity hospital which is a beautifully decorated peaceful place where familys can spend precious time away from the maternity ward . Chloe is very happy to do anything that will help to try ease the pain of losing a child.

we dont have a target amount but after seeing and hearing the amazing work SiMBA do we would love to raise as much as we possibly can

As a lot of my friends may be aware Josephs friend from childhood and just like family to us - Chloe , lost her beautiful baby girl Ivy Rose in November last year .

What should have been the most amazing time in Chloe’s life was what no parent would ever want to go through .

I visited chloe before the funeral and chloe mentioned about a cuddle cot , ( which we were initially hoping to raise funds for) i had never heard of and reading up on it it gives family’s the gift of time to spend with their babies before their final goodbyes . Chloe, her sister, brother with close family and friends were really lucky to have spent 7 days with Ivy Rose to cuddle her and say their goodbyes and Chloe benefited from using the family room at Queen Elizabeth university hospital so would really be happy for fundraising to go towards a similar room for familys in the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital .

Ivy Rose was so lucky to have such a strong and amazing mum who was proud all through her pregnancy and so excited to be a mum.

I will be running the 4 races proudly in memory of beautiful Ivy Rose ❤️

And helping raise whatever i can towards Chloe’s target to help other parents ease the pain of losing a baby and a longer time with their child in order to help them grieve .

Chloe sadly will not get the memories of what others are lucky to have like first smiles , steps, words but she will definitely make a massive difference to help others in memory of her perfect wee princess .

- I will be running the first 5k with Gavin on may 27th in Falkirk where they will display balloons with Angel babies names on them 💖

- The big fun run 5 k on July 28th in bellahouston park with Chloe , Hayley , Chloes aunt Tricia , my sister and my son and anyone else who would like to join us. - then the paisley 10 k on Aug 19th with Gavin

and then finally the Bank of Scotland 10k on sept 30th which is the original one i signed up for with my lovely friends from work .
