I am planning to run a half marathon in may 2017 to raise money for breast cancer. I chose this charity because my sister had breast cancer beginning of 2016 which was a huge shock as no one in our family has had any type of cancer, I stayed with my sister every minute of that day of her breast op, i seen her straight after the op, she looked so vulnerable and until this happened I never realised how much an individual actually goes through during treatment and how alone they feel. I have to admit it was the first time I was scared for her. I want to help make even the smallest difference to anyone who has to go through cancer.
