I've raised £200 to NATION KIDNEY FOUNDATION

In june of 2016 i was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease which meant my kidney function had dropped to just 18%, my kidney function declined and finially in April of this year i started dialysis with just 8% kidney function. A lot of people still dont know about kidney disease and just how many people are effected by it and have little knowledge of what kidney patients have to go through. One of the things is a very strict diet to watch how much salt, potassium and Phosphate they can eat a and chocolate is high in potassium and everybody loves abit of chocolate every now and again but a lot of kidney patients can not eat it all all. The kidney foundation help supports kidney patients and familys in every aspect of their life and at any stage in their disease from providing support in the way of someone to talk to about their daily struggles to helping patients fund holidays and setting up home dialysis to try and make their life more normal. Our family has been hit hard over the past 18 months with kidney disease with no only me but my mum as well she is also suffering from kidney disease due to many years of daibetites and she will eventually also have to go onto dialysis, we hope in the future to set up a dialysis room at my parents house for both me and and my mum and this will be done with help from the kidney foundation. I hope you can give a little to help this great cause or even come join me in my challange and raise some money xxxx
