Hi, I am Denusha and I am helping my dad with his four projects taking place in Kanjiramkulam, Sri Lanka. These are as following; a hospital construction, a school construction, a cemetery and finally a public park with playing facilities for children.
Sometimes it is easy to forget our friends and family across the worlds and how much they do not have, in comparison to us. It is easy to by pass the fact that there are children across the world not able to express their talent, ideas and interest in education simply because they do not have a pen and paper to do so. It is easy forget how hard it may be for children and adults of our kind to battle a flu without the intervention of an NHS or even simple medications such as paracetamols. I visited Sri Lanka for the first time this year in 2016 and I volunteered in many faculties and I was shocked by how different the lifestyle was, especially after having suffered from the war. It is almost as if the people of Sri Lanka are forced to live with such dramatic changes simply because they do not have a say, the right or enough funds to do so.
For this reason, I would like all my dear friends and family to come together and ask if you could donate absolutely anything and help me raise enough money in order to be able to buy stationary, text books, exercise books, sporting equipment, over the counter medications and many more simple things in order to be able to ship it over to Sri Lanka in order to develop these four projects successfully.
