Derby City Boxing Academy - DE22 3WH

Derby City Boxing Academy is an England Boxing Affiliated Amateur Boxing Gym based in the heart of Derby City Centre in the Abbey Ward. All of our coaches are trained and registered with England Boxing, all hold valid DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates.

At the heart of the community the gym offers boxing classes for ages 5 years and upwards. We don't have membership fees, our members just pay as they go. Our sessions are usually full with 20+ in our tots sessions (ages 4-9), 30+ in our junior sessions (ages 10-17) and 30+ in our Senior/Registered Boxers sessions. The subs our members pay help towards the running of the club, its utility bills, travel expenses taking our boxers out to compete, entry fees into national competitions and providing a safe environment and equipment for our boxers.

So, why do we need your help? Because of COVID19 our doors are closed, but we want to be there for members and Derby City when this virus has passed. We therefore need as much help from our community and local businesses as possible when we are allowed to reopen our doors.
