I've raised £10000 to Aid in repairs caused by excessive flooding as well as aid towards costs of alternative training arrangements due to excessive pitch damage.

The club has suffered heavily from the recent floods, which have caused extensive damage to the new 3G Artificial Grass Pitch(AGP), rendering it unusable for the next 3 months ( the current estimate). In addition to the pitch, the Haslams Lane road surface has also been badly damaged and needs resurfacing. Furthermore, we need to add additional preventative measures to try and stop future floods from causing similar damage. Whilst the AGP is covered by the RFUs insurers, and will be repaired in due course, the club has to cover all other costs, and because we are based on a floodplain, such risks cannot be insured, so the buck stops with the club.
As consequence of not having the AGP available now, hits us a second time because we lose 50% of our training area too, which means we are having to look elsewhere for training facilities at the moment. This means we are not using the club as much and paying to use other training facilities. We recognise that we have a growing club, with new sections needing more training space too, so to add additional training lights to other pitch areas, will further help to spread the load across pitch areas, and mean we can keep everyone at the club for training.
To be able to do all this will cost in excess of £10,000, so we would be extremely grateful for any donations towards this cost. We are facing challenging times at the moment and any help we can get would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
