Story

Derbyshire Army Cadet Force is part of one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations.

Its aim is to inspire young people to achieve success in life with a spirit of service to the Queen, their Country and their local community, and to develop in them the qualities of a good citizen.

Derbyshire Army Cadet Force is raising funds to donate to local charities in the area, to help out during these unprecedented times.

The cadets and adult volunteers will aim to complete as many steps as possible on Sunday 5th July. To pay homage to the Mercian Regiment, it is named the Crich Pilgrimage Step Challenge.

The Charities supported are Treetops Hospice and Ashgate Hospice
