Story
I bought a second-hand car in October last year from a garage in London. It has been a complete nightmare ever since with one fault after another. I hit rock bottom when the engine blew up and had to be replaced at a cost of £4,000, money that I simply cannot afford. The car is a Peugeot - Peugeot don't want to know. The dealer I bought the car from doesn't want to know. I have been to the Motoring Ombudsman - they don't want to know. I am desperate. Coming here is an absolute last resort. I know that I can't be the only person who has been hung out to dry after buying a dud second-hand car. Anything I raise over and above my target will be made available to anybody else who has found themselves in the same position that I now find myself. The real nightmare is that the car is now worth next to nothing and has outstanding finance. I know that compared with most of the stories featured here mine may seem trivial, but I have had more sleepless nights than I can ever remember.
