In 2010 my nephew sapper Daryn Roy was killed in Afghanistan,it was then that family and friends realised there was no memorial to put his name on. We then set up a committee to raise funds to build a new memorial, we have raised several thousand pounds but our hopes of erecting our new memorial to put his name and the names of all the fallen from all conflicts by 2018 is now looking unlikely unless we can with your help raise the extra £20000 we need.
