Story

I'm raising £5,000 for the production of a new episode in a series of short films I'm making featuring people championing change and making a positive difference towards ecological restoration, rewilding and nature based solutions to climate change. I make the films myself with minimal crew and overheads, keeping costs to an absolute minimum, as cost efficiently as possible.

The specific film I'm fund-raising for is the sequel to 'Jacha 'The Ape Man' Potgieter' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skwjl9BrjzY

In the sequel I will be interviewing people about sustainable palm oil. Does it exist? What makes it sustainable? How much does the world need of it and is the supply met? What are the intended/unintended consequences of growing sustainable palm oil? Following this short film I will be creating a feature length documentary combining the two series together, using footage not used in the series as well as some clips from them. That's another fund raising campaign in the wings...

The films are published to YouTube for maximum reach and will be entered into Film Festivals for further publicity and awareness. You can see the ones I've made to date here https://www.youtube.com/@wildworldfilms

I've self funded these so far and have reached the end of my personal resources. I please need your help to continue to make a difference.
