Story

The refugee crisis in Calais may no longer be on the news, but it is still very much an issue. There are currently an estimated 1500 people displaced after the eviction of The Jungle, 200 of those unaccompanied minors.

These are people, like you and I, who had families, careers, homes - and now have nothing. The military confiscates and destroys tents, sleeping bags and belongings on a weekly basis. Without the media attention, donations have slowed down and there is currently a desperate need for basic items. We want to let those people in Calais know that they have not been forgotten, by supplying food, equipment and clothing to the amazing organisations who volunteer their time and resources on the ground in Calais.

We will be taking a van of supplies across the channel later this year, date to be confirmed, and any donations toward purchasing fresh food and items that need to be new (such as underwear) will be gratefully received. 100% of money raised will be spent on supplies for refugees, we will be covering our own costs in full.
