Hi All,

In August we will be running a 10k in order to raise money for this amazing children's Orphanage located in Gourcy in the north of Burkina Faso, West Africa, started by Stuart Dear (owner of Hemmingways coffee shop, Haslemere) in 2014 to support the orphanage and women's refuge. It's home to 47 children aged 7 months to 18 years old and run by Pastor Silas. They have nothing but care for each other...no government funding and a harsh environment that the toughest would find difficult to exist in. We hope that you can help us provide them with some of basic necessities by sponsoring us on this run.

What the charity is aiming to do with the money raised:

• Introduce a food program

• Provide basic sanitation

• Enhance clean water supply

• Supply basic medical care

• Get each and every child in to education

• Building program

• Develop Vocational skills centre on site

• Set up sustainable sponsorship program to guarantee a better quality of life

• Have all the children feel safe, clean, comfortable, happy and loved
