I've raised £10000 to Help Barnet Hospital neonatal unit. Having stayed there for over 6 weeks with our premature son we would like to give something back.

Story

November 17th is World Prematurity Day it is a global day to raise awareness of premature birth and the devastating impact it can have on families.

Some of you may not be aware but I was pregnant and due to have our baby in October but instead god decided to bring our bundle of joy in the world very early in August.

Making Devyan our little miracle son 11 weeks premature. He has fought and come out strong.

For World Prematurity Day 2017, we have not managed to do any events due to the recovery of Devyan and me so next year we will be focusing on what #PrematurityIs and what it means to us. We need more people to know about the hurdles babies and parents face, and overcome, every single day. It has been the hardest thing me, Kiran and Vyas and Sachdev family has been through.

You can help us raise awareness by sharing what #PrematurityIs is on social media, hosting or joining a Bliss Little Lights Walk or simply donate here.

The money raised will go to Barnet Neonatal unit to help improve the facilities.
