On the 9th April 2021 while the school was closed for the half term break we had an intruder gain access to our school site. The intruder then proceeded to spend over 2 hours on the school roof stealing most of the lead flashing and caused over £8,000 of damage to the roof over our school hall, several classrooms and our school library. We have since had further damage caused due to the rain that has fallen while having the roof repaired.

Unfortunately, the school's insurance does not cover the damage caused by the theft. We have had to foot the repair bill ourselves from school funds, therefore taking money away from our children.

We are hoping to raise some donations to help us meet some of the expensive costs of the roof repair we have had to carry out at short notice. If anyone can donate anything to help replace the children's money that we have had to spend they would be gratefully received.
