In 2008 I was given 72 hours to live unless I got a liver transplant, With hours left I received my gift from Helen who sadly lost her fight but was carrying a Donor card and her family honoured her wishes to donate, which gave me the gift of life. The Transplant games encourages all post transplant recipients to get fit and live a healthy life.
By attending the games and hopefully getting some bling this in turn promotes Organ Donation Locally and Nationally and i it gets one person to sign the register and talk there wishes with there families its my gift back.
