Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
At Wild at Heart Foundation, fund and support animal welfare projects all over the world. In particular, aiming to reduce the world's 600 million stray dog population. Doing this by organising and sponsoring rescue projects, neutering programmes, awareness campaigns and education initiatives. 100% of the funds raised go directly to the projects we support.
The UK benefits from having laws and rules in place that mitigate animal welfare issues. In 2006 the Animal Welfare Act was revised and improved. Many of the projects we support are international, in countries where there is little governmental support for animal welfare or no infrastructure to monitor or manage animal care issues in humane ways.
