My 12 year old daughter is doing a sponsored 5k run to help try and raise funds for her football team. This is a new team grown out of determination to give a group of girls who desperately want to play football that opportunity. The money raised will not be for luxuries but for the essentials such as pitch hire and all the other fees required to keep this team in existence.
