I am running the Great North Run in September 2018. Originally I wasn't going to get sponsored and I do understand that you get asked to support lots of fund raising events. This is a very random request for support, it is also to acknowledge and say THANK YOU to Westway Vets in Darlington for the support and treatment they recently provided for a dog when it needed it most. (It wasn't Chester.) I got involved due to the owner not been well and cannot praise everyone at the vets for the love and attention they showed during what can only be described as a very emotional time. Due to confidentiality it is very difficult to go into great detail. I can say that the care that was provided in the situation was over and above and this is the reason I would like to raise money and donate it to the vets so they can help other animals that are stray or when their owner can not afford to pay. As I said it's very random but what else would you expect from me! Please donate a little. xx
