What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Dianne died in early January after a very short battle with ovarian cancer. The tragic impact was felt not only by her family and friends, but also by the wider public whose lives she touched across more than 20 years' TV and radio presenting.

The money raised will be used to help families and individuals who have, or are suffering from, this aggressive disease. The aim is also to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and its after-effects, particularly where families have suffered sudden loss...which can often be the case with this appalling disease.

Only a small donation however hopefully it can support early detection of this dreadful disease - I would like a screening programme for all women as we do with other cancers

Hope you charity will be a great success. Followed your story and saw you on Tatton Flower Show launching the rose in Diane's memory. Just lost a dear friend of 40 years from ovarian cancer.
