£42,727raised of £1,000 target by 1919 supporters

Weʼre raising £1,000 to kick start a charity in the name of much-loved TV & radio presenter Dianne Oxberry, who recently passed from ovarian cancer.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Dianne died in early January after a very short battle with ovarian cancer. The tragic impact was felt not only by her family and friends, but also by the wider public whose lives she touched across more than 20 years' TV and radio presenting.

The money raised will be used to help families and individuals who have, or are suffering from, this aggressive disease. The aim is also to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and its after-effects, particularly where families have suffered sudden loss...which can often be the case with this appalling disease.

So shocked by Dianne's sudden passing, far too young... thank you Ian for your efforts to raise awareness of this dreadful disease at this awfully sad time. Thinking of you and your family xxx
