Hi everyone,

Recently my mum Dian was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. This has come as such a shock to my mum and our family. Due to the size and advacement of the cancer, the only treatment option available to my mum is a masectomy to remove all of the cancer and even the unaffacted cells to reduce the likelihood of the cancer returning in the future. Even though she will be getting the medical care she needs, the financial strains of recovery will be a lot to handle. My mum will have to take a considerable amount of time off work, and the benefits and government help she would get just isn't enough to pay her rent and bills. My mum has told me that she will likely have to move out of her house and stay with relatives whilst she is recovering from her surgery.

My goal for this fundraiser is to make sure that my mum doesn't have to worry about finances whilst she is recovering from her breast cancer surgery. She is the most important person in the world to me and I would love to be able to take away any extra worries she might have so that she can just focus on recovering and getting better.

Even if you can only donate £1, it will go towards helping my mums rent and bills get paid and making sure she doesnt have to worry. I really appreciate the support and help anyone could give.

If we end up exceeding our goal any money left over would be used to send my mum on a trip away so that she can finally relax after going through all of this.
