I'm raising £5,000 to help repair the showroom from flooding.

The Dible & Roy showroom was flooded on Monday 24th November, following Storm Bert.

Having been in the same location for 36 years, and only once had a small amount of water in (2001), this time it took us by surprise.

At Midday the water started coming in through the walls, leading to a frantic afternoon trying to rescue stock, by 5pm it was 10 inches deep, and the whole area submerged.

Works are ongoing to strip the showroom out, and start the drying process. We hope to be back open by 13th December, but will have missed out on the busiest time of the year.

Due to the history of flooding in the area, the insurance premium was too high, so we are uninsured against flood damage and loss of business as a result of this.
