As you are all aware Pete had a number of health issues, type 1 diabetes, chronic arthritis etc. None of which were life threatening but were life limiting.
Due to these issues he has not been able to work full time for a number of years and of late very little at all.
On Tuesday pete succumbed to a virus which he was just unable to fight.
At just 49 years old, Pete was not supposed to die, and there were no plans in place to cover funeral expenses.
Rachel and Pete's families are not in a financial position to cover these costs.
If you could spare the cost of a pint or funeral flowers to help cover these expenses it would be very gratefully received.
We are all committed to giving Pete the send of he deserves as the great partner, son, brother, dad and uncle that he was but most of all he was our friend, a very special friend.
