As you may be aware, Diesle was taken in by petcare rescue when due to her owners ill health they were unable to keep her. Diesle also had a sizable tumour on her front leg that her owner wasnt able to treat and she was having incontinence problems and liver issues so they was considering having her pts but reached out to petcare cottage who had been walking and looking after her for years and of course we agreed to take her. Diesles since been cared for by Sam and Billy and lives with them as it was decided this would be best for her considering her age and health problems.

Her tumours been looked at but due to its size and her age vets have been reluctant to remove it (it would require a specialist and skin grafts and a considerable time spent being under).

So Sam continued to care for her and shes been thriving, her incontinence issues are getting better, her liver issues although are still present they are being managed well but on Thursday an artery within her tumour burst and was bleeding significantly.

Shes been operated on and the artery repaired and alot of the tumour (not all) taken away.

She‘s now recovering with me (Emma) and is doing really well and is very happy and comfortable.

We’ve been left with vet bills and any help in paying them would be massively appreciated 🙏. I‘ll upload the current receipts but still also have the ongoing aftercare bills coming up too.
