** UPDATE - Thanks to the incredible compassion & generosity of an animal charity who donated £500 towards the vet bill, Digger has had his Dental. Thank you SO much to everyone who has donated! **

I'm raising £1,000 to help pay for urgent dental treatment for Digger, a 14 year old Jack Russell terrier who I have recently given a retirement home to.

It quickly became obvious that Digger has terrible breath, and the vet has confirmed that he has peridontal disease: Digger needs several teeth removing and the cost has been estimated at £1,000.

Where he is in so much discomfort, he doesn't chew his food and swallows it whole. I can't imagine how he must be feeling with teeth in such bad condition, and really want to help make him more comfortable. Sadly veterinary dental fees are so high, which is why I am asking for help towards his dental and would be grateful for any donation you may be able to give.

He is such a sweet little chap, and loves coming out on walks and pottering around the garden. He has so much life left in him, and once his teeth are sorted out he'll feel so much better.
