I've raised £600 to put together dignity bags( basic hygiene supplies bags) for Female Syrian Refugees- we want to send at least 50 of these to Syria

The refugee situation has hit the hearts of many. The Samara's Aid appeal assists in many different ways: one way is to help save women begging for basic sanitary protection.
It must be heartbreaking to lose everything, to see things you never think you will recover from: and then to have to humiliate yourself further to beg for what we see as basic supplies just to retain some sense of dignity in the middle of the chaos.
The dignity bag appeal may help solve some of this - a dignity bag is a wipe clean nylon bag with sanitary protection, soap, toothpaste , knickers, a hairbrush and so on...to help a woman retain some sense of respect.
We are focusing on these bags as part of the Horsforth Refugee collection response and these will be shipped the first week in October 2017. These will be then transported to Syria and the Middle East shortly after.
If you want to donate towards this appeal any amount is amazing-A bag costs around £12 to put together
If you are local you can physically donate any of the following items for the bags ( this is the list of things that go in a bag) https://static1.squarespace.com/static/53766570e4b003ad46561710/t/588e1f0129687f77160ce7c5/1485709059567/DIGNITY+BAGS+SHOPPING+LIST.pdf
