Weʼve raised £0 to replace my wife’s motability car that is being taken off her after switching from DLA to PIP.

    Story

My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and for the last 7 or so years has been getting DLA (disability living allowance). This has meant she could use the motability scheme to get a car and to give her the freedom she needs. With this car it allows her to still work part time even with her disability. However everyone on DLA now has to move to PIP (personal independent payment) and they all a lot more strict on awarding this. She has been awarded part of it but not enough to stay on the motability scheme. So in a few weeks she has to hand the car back and I’m not sure how we will manage. My car is on finance so we wouldn’t get approved for a 2nd car and she really does need a car otherwise she will be stuck at home and would have to give up her part time job. I hate to even do this but if anyone can help at all it would be very much appreciated.
