Hurricane Harvey which was catagorized as a CAT 4 Hurricane, has caused mega devastation and destruction in the state of Texas, USA. Hurricane Harvey recorded winds of over 130mph and dumped the equivalent of The Empire State Building, more than a hundred stories tall, which if you filled the entire volume 33,000 times with the water that fell on Houston and the surrounding areas. That shows you how much water flooded the state. In most areas there are water levels of over 10ft and motorways and streets are now converted rivers with vehicles completed below the waterline. There have been several deaths and thousands of families including children are now completely homeless. Thousands of families had to be evacuated by boat and the military sent in Helicopters where boats could not access. My family including my sister and niece were amomg those severely effected. I am appealing to everyone out there to kindly contribute just a little towards this cause so that we can get urgent supplies and provide financial assistance to those families who have quite literally lost everything.
